SAFE MOORING PRACTICE


Course Description:

This course is designed to upgrade the knowledge and competencies of deck and/or engine personnel in mooring operation that will lead them to safe working practices on board. The course will give informative practices on ships safe mooring operation, such as, What Mooring Is?, Types of Mooring, Mooring Forces that affect the mooring operations, Factors Affecting Load Distribution, Mooring Equipment that used in the operation, Mooring System Management, Tugs and Safety of Tankers, Health and Safety during Mooring Operations, and the Mooring Process.
