SMAW ADVANCE WELDING


Course Description:

SMAW Advance Welding is designed to elevate the competency of engine or deck personnel in welding technology for them to perform the effective maintenance on board ship.

Trainees in this course will undergo on hands-on training that enhance their knowledge and skill as an operator of welding in accordance with the industry standards.  It covers core competency such as Weld Carbon steel Plates and Pipes using SMAW, which they can perform more practice in groove welding both plates and pipes in all position.  The apply safety practices in practical operation, Oxyacetylene welding and cutting, assessing and repair welds, knowledge and the procedure of aluminum and cast iron welding are also included  in the course.
